Paying Luggage On Spirit Airline

The passengers need to know that only one personal item is included with a Bare Fare that can only be either a laptop bag or purse that is smaller than size 18”x14”x8”. However, the passengers are allowed to carry extra luggage only after making necessary payment according to the baggage chart for the same, while checking in the airport. Baggage payment depends on the weight of the baggage:

  • 18 – 23 kg costs + $30 per bag
  • 23 – 32 kg costs + $55 per bag
  • 32 – 45 kg costs  + $100 per bag
  • 158-203 cm costs  + $100 per bag
  • Special items over 203 cm costs + $150 per bag

The passengers can also carry their sporting equipment by paying the extra cost that include:

  • Bicycle for $75 each way
  • Surf Board (Maximum of 2 surfboards in one bag) for $100 each way
  • Golf Clubs, Skis/Snowboards will be considered as checked bags and the overweight charges may apply
