What to do if Google Password Not Working After Reset

Google account gives access to any Google product and services and if you have synced your account with Android, then, you can download many apps from Google Play Store.

But even when you have reset the device and Google password not working after reset,

Then, go through following steps:

• If you have reset the password, then wait for at least 24 hrs or 72 hrs for older phones. This is done to prevent  “suspicious” activity and you need to wait 24hrs after a password change before you an use the Google account to set up a device. If the device is having Lollipop version , then, it changes to 72hrs.
• You can also reset your account password from another device. However, it takes either 24 hrs or 72 hrs depending upon device. Once you have reset the password from another device, all you need to do is leave the Google account as it is otherwise reattempt tries to reset the timer.
• If the above two options are not helping out and still google password not working after reset, then, go through following options:

1. Open your browser.
2. Type “Google Account Recovery” in the search option.
3. Click on the official link of Google account showing the option to recover your account.
4. This directs you to the page of Google Account Recovery.
5. Enter the Email address which you need to reset the password for.
6. Then, click on Next.
7. It asks you to enter one of the previous passwords that you remember. However, if you don’t have any, then, click on “Try Another Way”
8. It takes you to the page where you need to enter the details of account creation. You can skip this if you don’t remember the month and year. However, if you remember the month and year, then enter the details and follow the procedure.
9. However, you can skip the option in step 8, by clicking on “Try Another Way”.
10. When you click on “Try Another Way”, it takes you to the page to enter the E -Mail, then, click on Next.
11. Open the E -Mail in next tab and click on the link sent by Google tea to reset your password.
12. Once you click on the link, it will take you to the page to reset your password.
13. Log out and log -in again using new password
